Loved getting a taste of Lucerne, we had only about an hour so don’t expect to be able to do a whole bunch. Good thing is it is accessible by train from Zurich if you want to go back and explore a little longer on your own time. Mount Titlis is breathtaking and the ticket gives you access to everything and is seamless with everything planned ahead of time. I think missing these 2 experiences , that they should give us a refund! I could have bought my own ticket to this excursion for lesser money . The tour to Luzern is also on your own and you have to walk back to the bus. You can easily get distracted with the time frame they gave you. I was disappointed.”

Heidiland briefly reopened for the holidays, so we ended up visiting after all! I didn’t pay to enter the houses, but enjoyed walking the grounds and enjoying the spline scenery. Vaduz and Rapperswil were also lovely, with those stops were 1-1.5 hours for free time. Lunch is recommended for Rapperswil, but you can choose to eat later in Vaduz if you prefer - just decide based on when you’re hungry!”
